Title Jq's BBQ Sauce

Ingredients 1/4 C Unsalted butter
6 green onions, minced
1 Tbs garlic salt
1-1 1/2 oz can chili powder
3 Tbs ground black pepper
2-32 oz bottles of ketchup
2 qts. water
1/4 C tabasco sauce
1/2 C prepared mustard
1 C sugar
1/2 C packed brown sugar
2 C herb-flavored white wine vinegar
1-12 oz can beer
1/2 C burgundy wine
 
Method Melt butter in heavy saucepan. Add remaining ingredients. Cook, stirring occasionally, 30 minutes. Makes about 5 qts. Consistency is thin but can be reduced or thickened as needed
