Title Tomato Pie Sauce 
Preparation time 30 Minutes 
Servings 4 pies 
Ingredients 3-4 cloves of garlic
Olive oil
2 Cans tomato paste (small)
1 Can crushed tomatoes
Salt, pepper and basil to taste
1/2 Tbsp sugar
 
Method Coat skillet bottom with olive oil. Add crushed garlic cloves. Simmer for 4 minutes on low heat. Add tomato paste and whip with whisk. Add balance of ingredients and whisk to incorporate. Heat through and remove from heat.
Apply to pizza shells or dough. Sprinkle with a salty cheese like Locatelli. I typically use a combination of Romano and Parmesan but get it from the deli, not a Kraft can.
